Radim Hladík

Radim Hladík (born 13 December 1946 in Prague, Czech Republic) is a major Czech rock guitarist, composer and producer. When he was a child, he learned to play the piano. For two years he attended the Prague Conservatory, where he studied classical guitar. At fifteen he played guitar in a group of Komety. Since the second half of 1960, is considered one of the best Czech guitarists. He was awarded as the best guitarist of a rock beat personality.
He was member of The Matadors with his friend Vladimír Mišík. Hladík and Mišík in 1968 Established Blue Effect. After Mišík left the group, he became the leader of the Blue Effect group.
In 1979 Hladík with singer Leškem Semelkou and drummer Vlado Čech recorded the winning song of the Bratislavská lyra - Šaty z šátků.
